Venari Farmers

Venari Partners recently spent time volunteering with the RSPCA at Southridge Animal Centre. Southridge is one of the RSPCA’s rehoming centres, and the aim of the centre is to place every animal that walks through its doors into new homes. At any one-time Southridge cares for over two hundred and fifty animals, including cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, aviary birds and poultry to name a few.

3 members of the team spent the day helping out at the animal centre, working in various different settings. The team began in the chicken coop, covering the ground with wood chippings to, getting it ready for any new arrivals to the centre. This was followed by an afternoon spent in the pig pen, clearing the ground in order to prepare it for winter. We also had the opportunity to see some of the animals that were being looked after by the RSPCA, with a visit to the kennels and cattery, as well as getting up close with some of the farm animals being looked after at Southridge - the horses in particular took great interest in what we were doing!

Thank you to the team at Southridge Animal Centre for having us and providing a really great day. The team really enjoyed themselves and Venari Partners are looking forward to taking advantage of more volunteering opportunities in the future!

Thank you to everyone who offered their amazing charitable suggestions. We have been overwhelmed with the number of responses and we have therefore decided to donate to two charities.

Google No Longer The Dark Horse

Google is no longer the dark horse but one of the key players fighting for consumers attention against Priceline and Expedia. It came as no surprise that once Google had started its quest into travel it would be an unstoppable force. With Google already having the e-commerce and marketing platforms built in the search engine, it will be really exciting to see how Google will gain more popularity and develop its travel products.
